I always wish I hadn't sold off the 1967 Mustang I had before I got married;
I had a Mustang, but no classic '67. It was a black '82 GT four-speed that I bought that year (the five-speed came out in '83) with removable glass T tops. I put over 350,000 kilometres on it (and a couple of clutches).
But this is the exotic I had as a kid that I wish I still had. Well, it would be an exotic
now — maybe. A '53 Pontiac six with tinted glass — real classy — three on the tree and AM push-button radio that took only about 30 seconds to warm up. This is a black-and-white picture that I colourized. The car was pushing 20 years old in this pic.
