I got the replacement from Apple for this about 4 years ago or more.  However, at the time they were sending out those old hocky puck shaped adapters and the connectors on them were faulty. Many of the people who got them wrecked their power connectors on the PB trying to pull them off. I used mine once or twice and realized what it would do to my Wallstreet and never used it again. I complained and ended up keeping the original adapter and not sending it in. In the meantime I had purchased a third party adapter which I use most of the time. The original is around for use if needed. It never did get hot like those that caused problems.

Sometimes the fix is worse than the imagined problem.  rolleyes.gif

I have the Yo Yo one for my Pismo. smile.gif

FWIW.

You should always unwind it all the way.

Never use it wound up. smile.gif
