10.4.7 Trouble-shooting info returns
« on: August 28, 2006, 10:27:08 AM »
In honor of Versiontrackers 10th anniversary, MacFixIt has made its 10.4.7 trouble-shooting discussion publically available again. It was normally a subscription only.
<Special Report on 10.4.7>
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
CAUTION! Childhood vaccinations cause adults! :yes:

Makes me happy that I'm still using 10.4.6!

...strange things happening around here...

I swear I responded to your post, beacher, but it's nowhere in sight...

Mainly I was just pointing out that I don't think this re-publishing is due to the 10.4.7 being more problem-plagued than other updates; it is just a 'freeby' offered by MacFixIt in honor of their 10th anniversary.

And it's been absolutely problem-free for me! Mainly because I'm still at 10.4.3! blush-anim-cl.gif

Must have been a very short while, 'cuz it's back to being visible by subscription only.

Oh well. I'm still running 10.4.5 on this G5 - just haven't found the time to get everything updated and no issues with what I'm running now, so it's rather low on my priority list. Probably get around to it some day. We seem to be running various versions at this point - son #1 may have updated on his own, my Powerbook has 10.4.7 just because I reinstalled everything not long ago (no issues there), I know hubby still has 10.3.9 (he will get himself updated if he brings his Powerbook home from work!) and son #2 has 10.4.5 as well.
