Hey Steve, do they have a free radio for a mac?
I didn't really choose XM, it choose me in my DirecTV package. But it works and now I have a online radio that seems to work well too!
I'm not one for vocals or talk radio when I'm trying to concentrate, so audio visions is quiet enough and laid back enough to not become a distraction.

In the old days, on constrution sites it was a different story, but all this office work and computer stuff isn't second nature to me like building a bridge or rebuilding an area after a hurricane. wink.gif That was easy. smile.gif

Hmmm... I hadn't heard too much about this except for in connection with DirectTV etc. so I looked here as to what the story is in Canada:

and I see it is indeed available here now after the usual "no, Canadians don't need this fight"... wink.gif
At the beginning of the article it says you can use Winamp to stream XM radio... but I'm not familiar with that program anymore... it's probably not free and not for Mac...

Question about AIM... can you install it to use for stuff like this while completely ignoring the "chat" features unless some sort of national disaster requires it?

This mentions the AOL account:

If you have an AOL account you can listen to the broadband streams of higher quality music. How much higher? I’m still trying to figure that out.

Yup, I've had a AIM account forever and never use it but to iChat. Seperate but equal.
