A very belated thankyou for your good wishes. We had a great - very relaxing - holiday in our rented apartment about 20 minutes drive from Alicante (it's in the region of Benidorm; thankfully not too close - we're not nightclubbers!).  All the boring details will be in a new thread.... biggrin.gif.

By the way, Lorraine, local legend has it that Mr Olner (the MP is Member of Parliament, by the way) has been in the Commons for over 20 years but has yet to make a speech... Disclaimer: I've no idea whether that is true! wink.gif

Finally - what a great "birthday present" to come back and find Bernie posting again. thumbup.gif
