did you delete the folder ~/Library/Prefences/VLC before loading?

I deleted it after reading that it was a preventitive measure, then when I downloaded the new one I noticed that it had a delete script inside the folder.


It does open some files and you can run all your iTunes through it, though I find no advantage in doing so. It's one of those apps that i rarely use though it's handy to have just the same. wink.gif

It's good to know WMV9 and VC-1 are now supported.

A quick test shows that WMV9 and VC-1 encoded videos play better under QuickTime Player (with Flip4Mac WMV component installed).

Question: I'm running iTunes 6 and since I installed VLC I seem to have a little strangeness going on with iTunes (mostly it seems to want to open in the store which I'll probably never use).  I'll deal with it if I have to but just wondered!
