Xtralean Software released
ImageWell 3 few days ago, (v.3.01 is now available), a free and lean image editor for Mac OS X. I have free registration keys to give away.
ImageWell is a small, but powerful, image editing application that lets you quickly resize, crop, watermark, edit your images and then upload them to the web, save to your computer or email them to a friend. ImageWell also lets you annotate your images with text, shapes, arrows and lines, quickly and easily. And it doesn't stop there - add a drop shadow, a shaped border, flip or rotate your image, take screen grabs, plus so much more.
ImageWell is not designed to compete with Photoshop, however, if you are looking for a quick and small image editor that allows you to resize, crop, watermark, and the ability to lines, shapes, text and arrows with easy, ImageWell is the right choice for you. And the best of all, it's free.
Some of you may be familiar with ImageWell, one new feature in ImageWell 3 is the Xtra (optional).
Those Xtra features are:
- Batch Resize Mode (and batch upload mode)
- Multiple images on the Canvas
- More Drea Objects, Shapes, and Line Styles
- Gradient Patterns for Draw Objects and Backgrounds
For more detail about those features, please visit
this page.
ImageWell Xtra is valued at US$14.95, and I have secured three registration keys to give to TechSurvivors members who use ImageWell.
ImageWell is completely free, even
without the Xtra, I found it's powerful enough for most usage. (I haven't used the Xtra key myself.)
If you are interested in Xtra, please leave a message here. Those keys are identical to the retail keys, and you should be able to upgrade in the future as retail key customers. (I hope those keys go to those who would be benefited from Xtra.)

ImageWellImageWell 3 online manualIf you wish to buy Xtra from the website, you can use my coupon code "
MacCenter701" (without quotes) which can save you $5. The Coupon code expires on 31 Dec 2006.
Please be advised that I receive financial gain from the coupon code. Some notes and Disclaims
I do not receive any financial gain from giving away free Xtra Registration Keys. However, as I mentioned above, I do receive financial gain if the coupon is used.
According to my math, the $5 coupon works out to be a better deal than the 20% off from MacSanta.com.
I, personally, do not think the Xtra is necessary, as all of the major features are available for free.
