Congrats to "Da Bears." And a  TS thumbup.gif to my TS buddy GaryS, a long suffering--and very loyal Bears fan!  tiphat.gif

Ordinarily I'm not much of a football fan, but since moving to Indiana I think I may have caught the virus. I have to say it was quite a thrill to watch the Colts' comeback in the second half. Now let's see what happens in the I-65 shootout in Miami.

Da Bears might not make it out of Chicago if they're looking for I-65. wink.gif

I was rooting for both winners. Now who to cheer on in the Super Bowl?

I grew up 60 miles from Chicago, but was (and still am) a big Cubs fan; not so much of the other sports. Peyton Manning will be the sentimental favorite for fans of other teams, I suspect.

Thanks, Gregg, for the gentle chiding. I was not aware that I-65 ends at Gary. Anyway, to use a timeworn cliche, "May the best team win."

(For the grammar police among us: Yes, I know that when comparing only two, one should use the comparative rather than the superlative. So if you prefer "May the better team win," there it is.)

Can't say that I know where Lebanon is. (Not the country.)

Maps are one of my passions. Illinois has 12 2-digit Interstates, but 65 isn't one of 'em. I believe Pennsylvania has 13. (3-digit ones are bypasses of course, so they don't "count") However, 2 of Illinois' 12 don't continue outside of Illinois. So why call 'em Interstates? dntknw.gif

Congratulations to the Colts. smile.gif

They wouldn't have been there without Dallas Clark and Bob Sanders.

And congrats to Peyton Manning. I was pulling for him, and the Bears at the same time. That made it difficult to cheer, so I just rooted for whoever had the ball. Too much bad Rex and not enough good Rex....

Well ... disappointing ... but my pity party only lasted a few minutes. I imagine my family (all die hard Bears fans) are still down in the dumps.
