Changes with Skype
« on: January 30, 2007, 03:44:30 PM »
I wonder what is going on with Skype, my password was invalid, and that cant be true, as its saved on this Mac.
So something else might be going on, perhaps they are making everybody get a new password?
Anybody else have this happen?
Interesting, wonder if someone got into their files who shouldnt have, and this is the way they are protecting us?
Jane

Thats good news, meaning they are not having a problem.  For some reason, my password didnt 'stick' as it always has.
Oh, well got a new one. And made my call.

You are aware that only calls to other Skype members remain free? And, I think even those need to be in the U.S. of A. dntknw.gif

Other rates are not bad, but you may get a yearly charge if you haven't signed on with them and make a call to a landline. Not sure how they will handle it; only a charge for the call plus a surcharge for non-paying-members, simply block those calls with a message about the need to sign up. dntknw.gif
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
CAUTION! Childhood vaccinations cause adults!

It actually reverted back to the original cost for each country, which I had saved.
Dont know why I saved it, but its really not much.  So I sure will continue to use SkypeOut.
I got  stupid bogus check from some stupid time share thingie in Texas, so I didnt want them to have my landline #, and when you call a 800 #, they have it. So I used Skype and told them that they were bogus, and the girl wanted the number in the right hand corner of the check, no way would I give that.  I just told them to stop sending their crap to people.
Of course that will make no difference at all, its just like spam, enuf people respond and take the fish hook that it will make it worthwhile for them.
But I did give them a lecture. Thanks to Skype. I usually ignore this stuff and toss it in the garbage.
