Gregg, I feel for you buddy! I fell on the ice almost two weeks ago now and landed on my right hip. Nothing broken thank God, but badly bruised. The bruise is slowly going away and I am able to get around reasonably well. It still hurts occasionally when I turn quickly or roll over on it. We don't heal as quickly as we used to. Hope you get back soon...take care!!! sad.gif

Ouch! Glad you're getting back in shape for spring practice! (Not to mention a certain "dance" coming  up.)  wink.gif

I'm doing much better, thanks. Still not going to work. I usually park quite a way from the office. The closest I could get is a lot "kitty cornered" from our building. I might have to do that for a few days.

One (of several) reason(s) we moved from our last house was the very steep driveway. It was difficult to pull the snow blower up it, and still not too safe when I figured out that I could let it propel itself (and me) back up the hill. I fell on my hip once, and decided right then and there that this was not the last house I would own. Gotta love this winter injury season - NOT. (BTW, found the receipt tucked in the manual. Bought that "old" thing in 1994 - same year we got our first Mac.)

Maybe TeeEss needs an Orthopaedic Caucus for the sharing of "views"? harhar.gif

Glad to see, however, that your sense of humor wasn't bruised, Gregg. I'm still chuckling over your "lost "0" line on the damaged-DVD thread!

biggrin.gif Ah, Gregg, you MIGHT want to think about moving the purchase of the new snow blower up a tad....Like maybe RFN....

Sounds like a repeat of the last one is coming through beginning tommorow night. Look.gif

Same 'track', same results (snow depth, wise) and mayhaps much more ICE...

Local prognosticators say it will 'stall out' over central WI. on Thursday, "resulting in significant accumulations"  whistling.gif

Forwarned is four armed!?!?!?

Bob, you'll get the worst of this one. Down here, they say it could be too "warm" to snow. We'll see...

I'm in no shape to load the old snowblower in the van to take it for its trade in value, or to unload a newer, bigger one!

Unusual, but last night was a chilly one. There was enough snow this morning on the summits of the hills behind Silicon Valley/San Jose, for us to observe it from our deck 45 miles away.

Well, maybe not "hills" in Minneysota or Ioway, but "mountains" perhaps! Tallest is Mt. Hamilton (around 4000') . . .  Here - web cams from Lick Observatory

Thunder Snow this morning during "rush" hour. I made it downtown without the benefit of using the expressway.

I'm not picking up a shovel. (Can't use it anyway.) We're gonna let the sun and rain clear the driveway this time! snowglobe.gif smile.gif

clap.gif  Devilish2.gif  clap.gif That's ALWAYS been my 'fall back' method of snow removal..... If Mother Nature put it there... She can take it away. Look.gif
