Gregg, did you look at Apple's site? dntknw.gif Should be in Software Update, also. I'll let the ink dry on the release notes before downloading, much less installing it! What's the rush? dntknw.gif

Yeah, I knew it was OSX.

What about that Apple Menu thing? I'll have to look.

Not time yet. Nope.

On my 2 machines, DP 800 and a 2’ Intel iMac, both 10.4.8:

The DLs (I used the stand alone variety) and installs were without issue. When I repaired Permissions after installing iTunes, several repairs were made.

Using TinkerTool System to clean up unwanted languages netted a savings of about 66 MB!

It’s far too early to know if “gotchas” lurk, but so far, all seems normal. clap.gif

Thomas...

Believe that the 'extra sort' capabilities can be viewed/toggled on-off by going to the 'view' tab and then to the 'view options' at the bottom of the dropdown. In the righthand list are a number of selectable sort methods.

Problems and fixes, problems and fixes ... will we ever get an update that isn't a problem in need of a fix? The latest FF update is nothing but trouble. Makes me want to  wallbash.gif

Kimmer, for me, the latest FF update has fixed the one issue I used to have trouble with. FF used to crash nearly everytime I when under the bookmarks menu. I'm not having any issues right now. I guess our mileage really does vary. dntknw.gif

A couple of IMacs, an iPad, a bunch of iPhones...two of which don’t live here, but I still pay for. Oh yeah, wife, daughters, and yes—a grandson!

That's just the nature of human designed/built stuff. The more complicated it is the more likely there will be a problem unless huge amounts of testing is done. That testing can get extremely expensive, of course. Many feel that software is a great way of letting the user do the testing! smile.gif Software is also faced with the problem of running on a huge variety hardware and sharing it with millions of different combinations of other software installations. While you have trouble with an app, others may never see that exact problem or any others! Obviously, you are the real problem! tongue.gif

Just did the two downloads from software update. No problems seen so far. Of course, I don't notice anything new either... rolleyes.gif
