Anyone use Hotdial.net as an ISP?
« on: March 10, 2007, 10:39:43 PM »
I was on the other day asking about alternative dial up ISP's, actually I was asking about AOL, and Paddy mentioned Hotdial.net.

I went to the site to check it out and I am wondering if anyone else has had experience with it? thanx.gif

I may be the only one here who has used it, myhoprincess. I have used it in Toronto, ON, Mississauga, ON, Kingston, ON, Peterborough, ON, Sudbury, ON, here in MA, and in Florida. All no problem at all. Dial up with the local number and you're on. Good speeds every time too.

When I got the account for my in-laws, I went through all the reviews and though there were complaints, it seemed that there were simply no consistently better options; depending on what site you visit, there are complaints about pretty much every dial-up service out there. So, it came down to price, and access numbers. Hotdial seemed to offer the best options for us and I'm happy to say that we've had no issues. In the next month I'm going to have to change the credit card to which the account is charged since we're moving to Canada - we'll see how that little exercise goes.

Good luck. Hope you don't get burned. wink.gif
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.
