They switched back and forth so often, it was almost like I had two games in "Picture in Picture". They were obligated to show more of the Marquette game here, even though it was not close.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

Yeah GREGG, that is the one drawback to watching the NCAA tournaments...they try to cover all the games. Oh well...after each round there are fewer to watch! Go BIG TEN!!! biggrin.gif

I managaed to pick 26 out of 32 on the first round. Yeah, Big Ten and Big Twelve did quite well so far. I didn't see it, but the scoreboard kept me felling like Illinois would win, but they forgot to play the last 2 minutes.

(EDIT: I miscounted - I picked 26 of 32), and 7 of 8 in the second round yesterday. So far except for Vanderbilt, my Sweet sixteen picks are right on).

Ignore the argumentative nature of this poster. He is old and can't engage in meaningful dialog very long.
Therefore, management asks that you at least humor him. Thanks.

We watched that one here. They let it get away from them; a real heartbreaker. Everything broke down at the end.

Whew! Well the Bucks didn't go to sleep (as their brothers did in AZ in January) but how to I get my heart out of my throat! Question: Do Lewis and/or Conley know how to "miss" the clutch shots?????a
It looks like there's good reason the Buxks are Nr. 1.

Just the same, congrats to Xavier. G-r-e-a-t Game!

OUCH!!!  I'm still picking myself up off the floor.

Me too..me too!  What a game...XAVIER is one heck of a team. They figured out how to get to Oden and they definetly had us on the ropes.

and the rest of the story: We were missing easy layups the whole game, including ODEN. Then when it really really counts...Ron Lewis does his magic...drains a 3 to tie the game and leaves 2 secs. on the clock. Then in OT...Michael Conley decides he's going to take it all on his shoulders and lights em up with 3s and 2s and free throws to ice it with 16 pts. Oh MY Oh My Oh MY...I am flabbergasted and thrilled too.

WOW.gif Indiana vs UCLA just finished...as did Michigan State vs North Carolina. Both lost. So now it's down to three Big Ten teams left.

Ohio State...won!
Purdue plays Florida tomorrow.
Wisconsin plays UNLV tomorrow.

Go Bucks!!!

Go BIG TEN

I was thinking about you, Roy. For a second or two, I thought the refs might confer and call a flagrant foul on Oden. Had they done so, the Buckeyes would be going home. What a game!

Now there is just one BIG TEN team left in it...our beloved Buckeyes. I am hoping that they will do us and the BIG TEN Conference proud.

A couple of interesting asides...
We played Tennessee in January and beat them 68-66. Ron Lewis had an end of game 3 that won it! Deja vu!

This most heart warming and proud moment...Ron Lewis  graduated from The Ohio State University today. It says great things about the man and the program to see him get his degree.
