what a nice surprise to see this thread this morning--I've got to stop filling in those online forms.
As somebody who thought that turning 29 was the end of trust (remember "Don't trust anybody over 30"?) and who never really expected to see 39, much less 49, I now find myself 59 years old.
Each year on my birthday I'm reminded that it was on my 50th that I decided I needed to learn how to use computers & bought my first: a Wallstreet laptop.
I continually marvel how these machines have changed my life & my profession (making photographs). Sometimes I feel chained to my machines, but they really have opened up so many new possibilities that it has helped me feel younger as I keep learning.
So glad that I found Techsurvivors. The tone here is always civil and helpful. For me, it is a place to share images, ask questions and learn. Thank you all so much.
