Marcel, make sure you also dump your cache. It took dumping cache, dumping cookies, restarting and messing with my FF profile to get it all to work. Good luck! wink.gif

It worked  thumbup.gif

Glad, but no credit to me. Chris came up with dumping your cache, and Jen said cookies (although not chocolate chip). wink.gif

Marcel, the signature is off by default in the regular reply box but it is on by default in the Fast reply box. The main box can be changed to on but it has to be done in the code of each skin and we haven't decided yet which is better. I haven't been able to find the code yet for the Fast reply box signature...

Also, I plan to play with the smilies one of these days to make them more compatible with dark backgrounds. That's on my list but not at the top. smile.gif

I fired up the G3 to see how the forum looked through IE on OS9.2 and it's running fine.
However, all the buttons that are usually in a line under the banner (TS Home, Our Mission, etc) are in a column on the right, thus:

Not a problem, nor a complaint - purely FYI. smile.gif

And a MAJOR thanx.gif to the support team at our host ASmallOrange.  What a GREAT support team, and they were there at 4 a.m. which I NEVER expected!  And the support team didn't make a big deal of one problem I was having due to not being able to read what I wrote. [aside]Transposing letters can cause real grief[/aside]  They even offered to do some of the "heavy" work. (Because we do not delete posts, our database is LARGE.  Browsers can and will time out when trying to repopulate such a large DB.)  They offered to repopulate the entire database, I was able to just "fill in" the missing part.

Now, if y'all will excuse me, Sweet'ums has fixed dinner and wants to see more than the back of my head, so g'night y'all.

Orange came up BIG!

And you too, Jennie. thanx.gif

In Mozilla 1.3.1 / OS9.2.2

I noticed that the Forum Options button (at the upper right) does not work for me. I also do not get a "Quick Edit" option when clicking the Edit button.

So, I deleted the cookies and logged back in. It didn't make any difference. I'm not too worried about either of these things, just wondering if they still work, and if cookies are supposed to make a difference.

Gregg-Try two things.  First, maneuver to another site.  Then delete your cookies, and delete your cache.  The buttons not working seem to be more of a cache problem then a cookie problem.

I'm back, this time in iCab 3.03

Both buttons worked, but only after a very long delay. Interestingly, the Quick Edit/Full Edit popup was way over on the left instead of right under the cursor. I suspect Mozilla will have the same delay if I am patient enough.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try deleting the cache, but I don't get your drift on the cookies. In order to delete TS cookies, I need to be on the Forum Page and click "delete cookies set by this site" - or whatever it says.

I wouldn't trust a 'broken' forum to do the cookie deleting. Any good browser should be able to find and delete a specific set of cookies. Some may force you to delete every cookie you have. You get what you pay for.

Each version of the software creates somewhat different info in similarly named cookie(s). If the info is not valid in one version, it can block the use of the other version. That seems to be what happened here. So, trying to delete the cookies in the new version may simply not work, especially if the software is doing any kind of error/validity checking.

Gregg, you should have a way to manage your cookies within your browser. It should be somewhere in the Tools menu.

See if you can get there, and then delete anything from Tech Survivors.

Then, clear your cache (again) and see if that helps.
