.....across the stage and get my Bachelors from Missouri Western State University last Saturday.

I guess I'm edumacated now, after 36 years.

Got a job and feeling pretty good about it.

It's in my hometown, so absolutely no commute (I could walk to work if I had to)......and the hours are 8-5, M-F.

Oh, and they let me write code for a living.

I'm sure I'll have questions for you all....honestly been away from OS X for awhile...this box still runs Panther, so I'm not TOO terribly behind.

Anyway, good to be back a bit more now, maybe........

You have certainly earned special TS accolades, not only for this acomplishment but for the dedication that kept you on the path to such a worthy goal through many years when you undoubtedly had to deal with many and different competing demands. That kind of persistence calls for an extra cheer, or two.

Thanks, everybody.

It was a tremendously long haul (finished over the last 2.5 years after starting and stopping more times than I care to mention.....).

At least it's done and back to work now.....

That's a hard thing to get your degree later in life but it usually means sooo much more.

Chris,

Most of those who attend college, are (only) there because their parents either did or did not go to college.

But others, such as yourself, went to learn and to better their lot in life. All the more credit to you!
