Getting an iPhone?
« Reply #15 on: June 21, 2007, 07:15:30 AM »
This is the one I am thinking about,
http://www.samsung.com/Products/MobilePhon..._A707DAACIN.asp
I need it to fold up, and the camera seems like it would be enough mp.  Dont need the music(I have an iPod), but it looks like a good all-around phone.  And its small enuf that when we are out in the boat, I would put in inside a zip loc bag, as I do my present phone.
I was hoping that someone here has this particular model and would have some info on it.

I might just get it anyway, and if I dont like it, just pass it on to one of our kids.  Everything Samsung(my present phone, and new TV) seem to be great products so far.

I just went ahead and ordered it, on line it was $24.99 after the rebate.
Should be here soon, then I can 'activate' it.

Some one told me that you have to send the IPhone back to Apple to replace the battery. I won't buy one until they have a consumer replaceable battery.

Isn't that amazing?

I was shocked to find out how difficult an iPod battery is to replace.

It was three times as much for installation as for the battery itself!
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.
