combining powerpoint with music tracks
« on: June 20, 2007, 05:29:08 AM »
My wife plans to give a powerpoint talk but would like to combine it with parts of tunes to coincide with different slides. Perhaps parts of 4 songs.  It would be hard to plan itunes and power point together.  Any suggestions?  I could get iTunes to play parts of songs but when I copied it over the whole song was copied.  Thank you.  ilw-00

If you're talking about on a PC under Windows then you probably should plan on getting what you want into an MP3 or a Windows Media File for Windows Media Player to play it.  I haven't tried using iTunes but I would predict problems.

I don't use this here at work but I "think" this is one of the products I used to slap together a presentation I did for Boy Scouts last winter (PC's):

I will look tonight when I get home and if I'm wrong I'll post a correction.  This is a program a friend uses on MAC's:

I don't have personal experience with this last one!  I also just remembered Audacity (both PC and MAC):
