Just curious ... I don't look into each forum. I come to the main page and click "View New Posts".

Now that we have 2 forums and 2 subforums or categories or whatever they are called ... none of the "announcements" show up on the new posts page.

So I missed the announcement. Anyhow, figured you'd want to know what's doing what ... or what isn't doing whatever.

While I see a list of several Archived 'forums', what are the "subforums" you are seeing?

I never see the forums list page as I go directly to the two forums. New posts show up with small reddish icons ( in my skin, anyway ) beside their name. Of course, they also tend to be near the top of the list, anyway. The list does extend below the bottom of the window but there's no reason to scroll unless the "new posts" list gets that long. I'm not sure what the Forums list is good for except for the list of birthdays. I've pretty well got the list of forums memorized by now!

In other words, I'm not sure there actually is a problem with the list of new posts on that 'front' page.

However, the "Announcement" function does not seem to use the 'new post' icon as do the regular and "Pinned" topics do.

Strange, since one might suppose an "Announcement" could be more important than just a pinned topic.

There is - it's minor - but it's there (and I'm pretty sure it's an IPB issue that they will have to resolve. I'll talk to my bud when I have time). I'll explain better when I can come back and spend time here.

I had a PM which came through fine. I tried to reply (twice) but it wouldn't let mine go through. I don't know if that's a function of the upgrade, my OS, or something else.

Gregg:
I do believe it is because of your email address. If you update the email addy, it may work. I know the PPM is not coming to you via email, it is a board function to alert you when you log into the board. It may not allow you to send if the outgoing email is "unavailable", as your email is.

I was still logged in when I visited today (yesterday I noticed the board was down).

Only thing (but not really a problem) is that I had to change my bookmark from
