This is the one I've been most interested in so far, Jim:
http://www.customkeys.com/largeprint.htmlAs for the graphics card - it's not graphics pros who are whining, but gamers. The graphics card is perfectly adequate for just about anything you'd want to throw at it, EXCEPT games requiring high frame rates etc., which is where it falls down. Graphics pros probably don't use iMacs much because they use MacPros with lots more storage, expandability etc. and also want to choose their own monitors - the iMac monitors, while good, AFAIK, are not comparable to high-end LCD graphics monitors from the likes of Eizo (we're talking serious dollars). Nothing to do with the graphics card. Many pros are now making the switch to LCD - it is no longer the case that CRTs are
so much better with color fidelity etc. LCDs have improved greatly over the past few years in particular and they are also readily available in the larger sizes favored by graphic pros. Until my 22" LaCie Electron Blue died on me just before we moved (convenient!) I'd not made the switch to an LCD, largely because I was concerned about color when editing photos, but had decided that I would soon as things had improved so much. Well, soon became immediately - I'm now using a 24" Dell 2407WFP and like it very much.
http://www.anandtech.com/displays/showdoc.aspx?i=2940 It's gotten generally rave reviews, and while it not be up to the standards of the Eizo ColorEdge CE240W, the Eizo, at $1700 is almost three times the price. LaCie and a few others make high-end LCDs aimed at the pro market. It's getting harder to find high-end CRTs for pro use - even LaCie has stopped making them, as has Sony and others.
