Getting our puppy very soon, and this is a family kitten.  Her name is Smitten.
So we are a bit concerned about all the doggone wires in our house. This picture is only just some of the worst offenders.
Today we are cleaning every floor in the entire house, you would not believe the small toys that our grandkids had lost under both our sofas, chairs and other furniture.  We moved everything, vacuumed, and now I am taking a break from washing all the hardwood floors and the kitchen and baths. (Upstairs is all carpet, its easy).

I've seen some pretty nifty wire management gadgets. Maybe you should look into that.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

Cable management strategy, in big networked buildings, generally likes to route things into channels that are above the drop ceiling.  That's the best place to keep the wires out of the way of pets and children (unless the pets are birds or lizards).  My friend, who owns his townhome, has routed everything into racks along the upper part of the walls; not pretty!  We're not anywhere near wireless yet!

Hope you're not as tired as that pup! smile.gif

Our cat has pretty much stopped chewing on the cables, never really bothered them, anyway. If I didn't know better, I'd swear those pictures were of the back of my desk! But I arranged things somewhat by getting some plastic stuff from Radio Shack that is basically a long coil of flat plastic. You can easily cut the three foot lengths to what ever you need. All you do is start wrapping a bunch of cable with the coil adding or dropping a cable/wire as needed. It at least keeps them together making cleaning easier, at least that's what my wife says...

Wow, I can see that the answer to this, is just to keep the pup under constant supervision, just like when our grandkids were little.
We, luckily, are totally retired now, so the pup will be with us all the time. There wont be any time that she will be alone, unless we are grocery shopping or stuff like that, and our friend near the town center where the groceries and the other stuff is, will be wanting to babysit her.
We hear from him daily for this, which will be really wonderful, as we would not want to leave her in the car for even 5 minutes.
Just like another baby!

Oh, gee, those wires make me feel right at home.  wink.gif

I spent the afternoon disassembling a maze of TV/VCR/DVD cables that I had going all over the house. Finally stopped mid job and decided to draw a diagram first. Just hooked up one TV for the time being.

Good thing I don't presently have a puppy. I wouldn't know where to begin the cleanup.

Have fun with that adorable blob of white fur.  smile.gif

Just wait till our grandcat, Gus comes to visit, he is going to have to establish a brand new pecking order, with him at the top of course.
Here he is sitting on our glass table in our sunroom, keeping an eye on the grandkids.
