MM, when I completed the registration process I was taken directly to a Login window and once I'd done that, the start page for Glide loaded - with the full array of programs. You should end up here:
https://desktop.glidesociety.com/ui/desktop.aspx?
Or you can just go here:
http://desktop.glidesociety.com and log in.
In order to use Glide Crunch you have to download Glide Sync - but you'll be presented with a button to do that. The "Write" icon didn't open the writing program in Safari, but worked fine in Firefox. Crunch works in Safari. A number of the other icons didn't launch anything in Safari but all work fine in Firefox. No idea why.
In addition to the Write, Crunch, Present apps, there is also a web publishing one. No idea how well it works.
A review of Glide 2.0 from back in Feb - they've since added more features and more storage:
http://www.businessweek.com/technology/con...ub=techmaven%20I tried the photo editor and didn't find it particularly fast or in any way comparable to Photoshop, but it might be ok for simple cropping and minor adjustments. You need to upload photos to work on them, and with only 2GB of free storage, you obviously won't be able to have too many uploaded.
The writing program looks fairly good.
Will I use it? Probably not, in that there isn't much collaborative stuff I need to do at the moment. But it's nice to know it's there if I do find a need for it.
