I have researched this in Snopes all morning. I can not find anything that says this is phony!

I see no reason to doubt that this is real. Maybe not as 'rickety' and 'dangerous' as the commentator would have us believe, but certainly not as safe as a bridge. But there are other alternatives to spending literally millions of dollars (converted to whatever currency is involved) so a few people who seem to voluntarily choose this place to live. OTOH, we don't really know why these people want to continue living this way, do we. Thinking.gif

I tend to think that SNOPES deals more with 'urban' ledgends and emails than videos. I just visited their site an hour ago to send some links to a friend who forwarded an email which, if he'd even thought about it, was obviously filled with false "information." I guess the temptation to use the "Forward" function is just too great for some folk. wallbash.gif

I agree XABD. M'lady and I were just talking and she said she knew some folks who were missionaries in Columbia back in the 70s. She said that they told her stories of this type of transportation down the mountains.

Maybe I was too inpatient. I did hear a "drumroll" (through the built-in speaker, not my powered ones) but no video.
