Look at this link about Jolt

I downloaded the Lite (freeware) version to try out on my G3 Pismo running Tiger. I added it to my startup apps. The Lite version only has one time setting (5 minutes), whereas, the Full ($5) version has multiple time selections. The Jolt icon appears in your Menu & you can turn it On and Off. Since the Full version is only $5 and some goes to charity, I'm going to buy it to support the developer.

This app is especially useful if you are operating your laptop from AC power.
