For all you music lovin' TS'ers:

These clips were recorded at the Middle Earth Music Hall in October of last year.

The audio isn't great, but you can get the gist of it.

I hope you enjoy!

Thanks for the link to the music Chris.  I especially liked that you were keeping the spirit of Warren Zevon alive with the Werewolves of London thing!   thumbup.gif

So which CD of Darth's do you have, Kris? And where/how did you buy them?

Wonder if I search at iTunes for Darth Vader if I'll find Chris?

Well Kim,

They're not at iTunes... Next CD, maybe... I wasn't smart enough when I released these to make that happen  doh.gif

PM or e-mail me and I'll hook you up! Any TS'er who wants one can get them for the friends and relatives price... isn't my intention here to make this into a shameless promotion! whistling.gif

Eventually, they will be available with a PayPal link from my website and hopefully I can get them on iTunes as well.

Glad y'all are enjoying the music! Makes me think that recording this band properly might be worth the trouble. We did another show at the Middle Earth in January, and the videos from that one should be up in a few weeks. This time, the sound should be much better, as the audio was recorded through the mixing board.

Thanks!

Thanks, Chris! biggrin.gif

So...I'm curious - what kind of guitar are you playing in Ko Ko Mo? Don't think I've ever seen one like it.

That would be a 1933 National Steel Duolian. They are actually quite common in the acoustic Blues world.

Mark Knopfler put the prices on them out of sight when he put his shiny nickel-plated one on an album cover years ago...

This one is the economy model, with zinc plating, but they sound better than the shiny ones because they have a thinner body without all that nickel/chrome.

They were out of production for many years, but now there is a company called National Resophonic Guitars in CA that are reproducing them very nicely.

This is also a 12 fret model, fyi.

Hi Chris...

Sure glad I stopped by in time to see you play. Terrific!
The other guys aren't too shabby either.

Didn't George Segal (actor) play something like that National steel ax?

Going back to watch again. Great to put some music to the face. thumbup.gif

Aha - I kept thinking I'd seen that guitar design somewhere before, but couldn't think where! (Have that album - and it's also on the cover of one of his live albums too) smile.gif

Well cool mate. Loved it.

Two questions though
1) Was the guy with the beard Gandalf?
2) Where were all the Hobbits?

it was in Middle Earth after all  wink.gif
