Buy a new Mac, and they throw in Leopard at no extra charge!

Since when does Apple need to sell their Operating System OEM?
Last time i checked, there is presently only one manufacturer of computers that could use Apple's OS, and that was Apple...
odd... i wouldn't trust this guy...

My Leopard disk doesn't look like that - it's pinkish/purple in the middle - not green. Hmmm....what is this? There are no "OEM" disks that look like that from Apple - they're usually gray. Can anyone confirm that the new iMacs shipping with Leopard still come with gray install disks?

...don't know about iMacs, but my Mini came with a "grayed out" disc.
Does that mean I can't use it???!!!!!!

the grayed-out disc is the recovery disc, and can only be used on Mac Mini's (in your case)...
i've tried using my PowerBook disks on an old iMac and they didn't work

I looked around to see if there were any mentions on the web of a green disc but found nothing.
Then I accidentally came across this video which is an excellent view of what Leopard can do on an iMac and BINGO.
At about 5 minutes into the video you'll see a green disc, most likely from the iMac.
