Rain and dreary here - and supposed to be more of the same tomorrow, though getting up to almost 60 and windy. Guess it's the same storm system affecting everyone else!
California HAS Sugar Maples??? Where?....There is a
street named Sugar Maple Place in Chula Vista, but you're not going to convince me that they
actually grow in Chula Vista! There's a Sugar Maple Drive in San Jose (which has a slightly better chance of actually being able to grow a maple than somewhere near San Diego)...but those things that turn red in the fall in SF and have maple-like leaves aren't maples - they're Liquidambar, or Sweet Gum. I've sometimes seen Canada mistakenly shortened to "CA"...
