The track I have in my iTunes library is identical to the one on Highmac's link.
Well, until somebody else hears and verifies this, only you know it. Didja listen to the audio of that video? Didja notice that it was NOT the same? Mebbee you could email the mp3 to Highmac, and he could 'post' it [or at least ascertain and attest to its similarity]?
No offense kbear, but i ain't lyin! And I'm not accusing you of lyin either.
No offense taken, JW. I do not think you are lying, merely mistaken. And I am happy to 'change my tune' if/when presented with evidence to the contrary. BTW, what would 'satisfy' my desire in this regard is to hear the same music from a second source [other than Highmac's clip] that is unambiguously attributed to TKT [note that I have d/l'd many tunes over the years that have been mis-attributed, so the operative word here is 'unambiguosly']. The fact that you have already 'discovered' a version of the song in question [the video track] that is, quite obviously to my ear, performed by TKT, increases the need for unequivocal attribution in this case.
Never even heard of the
Byrds [<--check out the very thorough Wikipedia entry*] and Roger McGuinn
Now that's a scary admission, IMO. Never heard Mr.Tamborine Man; You Ain't Goin' Nowhere; My Back Pages; So You Want to Be a Rock 'n' Roll Star; Eight Miles High; Turn! Turn! Turn!
Several of these were Number One Hits, and several were written by Bob Dylan, and one by Pete Seeger.

* I just now learned there that McGuinn had played w/ the Limelighters beef-ore forming the Byrds, so maybe it's one of their recordings?
