Another Mac in a movie

Can I assume I'm not the only one from TS  who, during an early scene in the movie, "The Recruit" leaned over towards his spouse and said "Look, he's got a Mac!"?  It was funny because the soon to be "recruit" was running out to try and get a job with Dell.

Didn't see the Recruit, but I understand there is a job opening at Dell...

By the way, I was just watching an old Disney movie on the Disney channel with my son -- Blank Check.  We watched it together about 10(?) years ago when it first came out.

The kid in the movie gets run over by a gangster in a parking lot, and his bike is destroyed.  The gangster, in a hurry, gives the boy a blank check & says, "Get yourself a new bike!"

The boy, no dummy, types in "$1,000,000.00" and goes about buying everything a kid dreams of, including a $300,000.00 home.  In order to effect the deal, he uses his computer "adult voice" to make the offer over the telephone to the realtor.

When the realtor asks him what his name is, he hesitates, looks down at his MACINTOSH PERFORMA, and says, "I'm MacIntosh!"  Great movie!

Gee, Lorraine, that's an odd name for a child.

So THAT'S who that was....
Do not fear your enemies.  The worse they can do is kill you.  Do not fear friends.  At worst, they may betray you.
Fear those who do not care; they neither kill nor betray, but betrayal and murder exist because of their silent consent.
