I've been off-board for a long, long time. I guess I'm still traumatized by the breakup of my relationship with Jeremy, even though it was over a year ago. I have still not hooked up my new hard drive or installed OS 10.1. I've sort of "gone off" matters relating to computers for awhile, even though I use my G4 every day, and do routine maintenance. Knock on wood, it is a very, very good machine...!
I wanted to say Hi to everyone. Even though I have been thinking of other things these days, I have missed everybody here. This is a nice community, and one can't say that for all forums, to say the least. I'm in the process of changing careers. As many of you know, I've been a professional jeweler for 30 years, and being a jewelry craftsman is not only
boring, it doesn't pay well. I've also make my interest in vision improvement very clear. So I am going back to school, and intend to become a VTOD, or vision-training optometrist. Thank goodness my health is very good, so maybe, just
maybe, I can pull this off.
Alot of people are always asking me questions about vision, etc. The latest one is this:
Are headset monitors safe? Can they cause eyestrain, or are they more likely to cause eyestrain than CRT monitors?Any info/articles about this would be very helpful.
I hope I don't have trouble with this board. I miss the old "look," but this seems to operate much like most bulletin boards.
