Now why didn't I think of that?? biggrin.gif It's been a lovely sunny day here, so Wiarton Willy did indeed see his shadow. Along with Shubenacadie Sam and Punxsutawney Phil sad.gif Yet another 5" of the fluffy white stuff predicted for tomorrow. Sheesh!

Thank you all for your kind wishes - not planning anything special tonight, but going to a friend's on the weekend for dinner and billiards (this ought to be funny - I've never really played!) and out for dinner on another night with friends, one of whom has a birthday next week. smile.gif

(Beaver tails, for those of you who don't know, are essentially the same as fried dough, with sugar and cinnamon and a zillion calories. An absolute must when one is skating on the canal in Ottawa.)

Nah...birthday cake and ice cream is pretty much the order of the day, though I didn't have either tonight. No doubt some exotic/rich desserts will be indulged in later in the week. smile.gif
