about the banner (size)

While making the banner, i realised that i couldn't get it less than 40k, the goal to make the size of the banner on TS.
This one couldn't be done less than 58k, therefor i apologize for some slower loadings to some people, due to the banner... i hope i will not be fined by the TS police? --> police.gif
It was a great job though, making the banner.
At first, i wanted to create flash animaion from illustrator 10 (export to flash, make layers to frames) but soon i noticed that this animation was going over 600k ohmy.gif
So there i was, having it made in illustrator, i started looking for a way to convert to convert it into ImageReady, hoping i could somehow save the layers so it remembered them as frames.

It works.... yup yup, this is how smile.gif
Export Illustrator to Adobe Photoshop (.psd) with layers.
Import .psd into ImageReady, all your layers are frames now.

I'm soooooo pleased with the result smile.gif

I would like to add my Best Wishes to all who have achieved a milestone in their lives.

And a special congratulations to one of TS's members... sharbe, who received her Master's Degree this week. A tough goal to attempt while working full time and raising 3 boys (and a husband smile.gif). Way to go, kiddo!

Each of us must climb our separate mountain
To reach at last our own extended view.
We can be no more than what we are,
Yet that is quite enough for us to do.
Each of Us Must Climb Our Separate Mountain

The world is far too great for comprehension,
And so we only know what we can know.
But given the abilities we're given,
That's still a long and weary way to go.

Yet on the way, how beautiful the moments!
How good it feels to have some skill or art!
How wonderful to pause in awestruck wonder
At what must fill the unsuspecting heart!

And so all TS Members are proud of you today
For all you've learned, and all you've tried to learn.
Knowledge brings the deepest satisfaction,
Not least because it's something that you earn.

   smile.gif
B MacHappy! TS makes you that way!  ® < And don't forget it!

Woooow Smiley, you are so sharp in noticing thingssss smile.gif
At first, i wanted to make a "Matrix" kinda creation, but i didn't found a nice letter to do so.
Than i found this letter at work (called "DotMatrix") and i came up with the "billboard" kinda animaton biggrin.gif
I did kept the Matrix green color, so i guess it was pretty obvious on that one, hehehe.
Now... i remembered something else.... the little running lightpannels, used on "the Blue Man Group" show blush-anim-cl.gif
Remember them? smile.gif
They were green ok, but since i already used green, i used a pink color that was really in high contrast on the green.

Sooo, all together, there are 3 influences of both our interests:
Youuuuuuu (graduation), Matrix and the Blue Man Group B)

Congratulatons!!  Well Done!!  You go Girl!  Way to go!

Smiley & Sharbe, what a wonderful accomplishment!!  Proud for you ladies!
Do not fear your enemies.  The worse they can do is kill you.  Do not fear friends.  At worst, they may betray you.
Fear those who do not care; they neither kill nor betray, but betrayal and murder exist because of their silent consent.
