sflsharedprefstool
sfl + shared + prefs + tool? I have that (actually, "SFLSharedPrefsTool"). The path is: /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/OSServices.framework/Versions/A/Support/SFLSharedPrefsTool
No "activatesettings" file.
Close as I can get to "trampoline" is "security_authtrampoline.8," but that's actually a document in a "man" page...wait, PathFinder is finding dozens of files with that word in them...
This one looks interesting, same name as the one I mentioned, but the path is quite different: /usr/libexec/security_authtrampoline
Then there are about 10 instances of this: trampoline.mov
Path: /Applications/QuickTime Player.app/Contents/Resources/trampoline.mov
It's not really a movie to watch, nothing happens on-screen, it's just one of many 'resources QuickTime uses during operation. If that were the problem one would think ".mov" would be included in that crash report.
I'm beginning to think a re-install of the
combo 10.4.11 updater might be in order.
Do you still need OS 9?
