Mac would like some new fonts to play with and because he's a Scotsman, he wants 'em FREE.  laugh.gif  I said no problem, I know there are links at TS. Well, apparently I stink at using the search feature on this board, because I know that we've shared links to reliable font sites, and discussed fonts that we like and all that kind of stuff; but darned if I can find the posts.  wallbash.gif

Please share links to reliable font sites before I have to try reading every post on this board for the past 2 years just to prove I'm correct. harhar.gif

Just Google "free fonts." Adding "mac" may not be of much help, anymore. dntknw.gif There must be 1,739 sites (maybe 11 or 12 more) offering them. Of course, many are duplicates, some stolen and many useless or just plain ugly (a font creating tool does not one a font expert or artist! eek2.gif ).
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system

Kris and Thomas ...

ABD, I sometimes prefer a recommendation from folks I trust. I've downloaded too many corrupted fonts just by googling and clicking. wink.gif And I have the corrupted graphics to go along with the corrupted fonts. sad.gif

Oh, Kris, you've made a font junky very, very happy!! biggrin.gif How come I'd never come across that site in my travels?? huh.gif

And should I ever need to spoof just about any movie/commercial entity, that site you linked to should come in handy, Tom!

Since I work with Greek and Hebrew as well as English, I find some of the recent entry, Gentium, in this arena very good.

Therefore, management asks that you at least humor him. Thanks.
