I probably should upgrade from 8.whatever. The upgrade to 9 is only $30. But I don't see the advantage. Need to do some comparisons.

Thanks for the headsup.

It's rather like using CS4 to change a jpg to a gif! laughhard.gif Except extremely easy to use. Not much use, anymore for Fetch or even a browser, BBEdit does it all (OK, checking different browsers is still recommended). I use the validity/syntax checker automatically. doh.gif But TextWrangler is also fantastic and is probably all I really need. blush-anim-cl.gif

I've never used BBEdit to upload stuff to our site. Back when it first came available, I didn't 'get it' and didn't spend time 'getting it' -- and now I'm stuck in my happy place and like to watch the puppy run. laugh.gif

Well, it is quite difficult to upload a file. It requires three fingers to press the command-shift-"s" keys. Of course, you then have to press return (twice, if you're replacing the file, in the same directory...). tongue.gif

harhar.gif ... It was plugging in all the info to reach our site that got to me. It was already stored in Fetch, and there it remains. I'm basically lazy about some things.  wink.gif

Well, yeah, you store it once in BBEdit, also. Of course, in the dialog, you can select any directory in your site, if you store stuff in different places (graphics, audio, video, includes, etc.). Same thing you'd do in Fetch but without ever opening Fetch. wallbash.gif

Sometimes, change can be good! tongue.gif But, I very much enjoy being lazy, myself! blush-anim-cl.gif And, then there is eating...WOW.gif laughhard.gif Seems the only reason to get any exercise, is so one can eat! yum.gif wallbash.gif
