"Gimp" Printer Driver for HP D4360
« on: May 09, 2009, 10:13:53 AM »
Hi guys,

I have OS 10.3.9 with a 2001 version of MS Office and  I can't afford to buy an update.

My Epson 820 went kaput so I bought an HP D4360, which prints beautifully in OS X but not in Classic. I've heard of something called a "gimp printer driver" but is this available for Classic (OS 9.2)?

Has anyone found an HP D4360 driver that I can specifically use for Classic?

Thanks,
Francine

I had a similar problem when, after replacing my Epson 740 with a Canon iP 6700D, found it would not work with Classic. Got round it by making a PDF of the document from the Classic program (in my case QXP 4.1) which can then be printed from Adobe Reader (in 10.4.11 at any rate).

Might be worth looking into if you don't do too many documents in Classic.
