Love the idea of a retirement business card. Personally, I think retirement is pretty grand. No more getting up with the chickens unless we want to. Our "jobs" are now ones we choose through volunteering. Have to say, there are times when retired life is stressful and worrisome -- but that's true whether one is retired or not. So I like your card.
I think this card should reflect you, and I'd only suggest 2 things.
1. The colored background on the front. It's an odd color to my eyes, plus you'll be using a lot of ink printing the cards.
2. I
abhor comic sans, and would *beg* you to replace it; but my hatred of this font is a real thing with me.
I still get up between 5:00AM & 5:30AM. I have so many volunteer jobs - work one day a week at a food bank, on the staff of a single parent support group, habbitat for humanity, handyman, on the planning committee for 2 charity golf tournaments - that it seems that I work 40 hours per week.
The card is meant to be informative, but also humorous. Hence, the job title below my name & the info on the rear. I was not a professor. I was an engineer.
Re: Colored background - I did a search on Google images using the word "hammock" and found the graphic I used. Actually found three identical images, but with backgrounds of "orange" (the one I chose), lime green & pink. I chose orange because it's the closest color to a sandy beach.
Re: Comic sans font - Since the card is somewhat humorous, what better font to use than a comic font.
