I 'tested' a friend last night and he was alarmed by the same money problem! laughhard.gif I'm visiting my doctor today, I'll see if he has any suggestions for that concern! I'll post back, if I live that long!

Biological age 74
Virtual age 61.1
Avg life expect 84
My life expectancy 96.9

I'll stick with my life expectancy.

Now if I could just have fewer visits to my urologist.

And surgeries! I just had hernia surgery last Friday. Surgery went fantastic. Now, I'm dealing with the side effects.
I'm sure several of you older folks can relate to that. It ain't no fun having those devices forced into you.

But I've always been told that if you look around you will always see somebody worse off.

Great! Did they put the hernia in a bottle and let you take it home with you? rofl.gif Beats showing the scar! eek2.gif

Follow your doctors' orders, Jack.  Give yourself time to fully heal before you do anything very physical.  Nothing worse than having to go back for corrective surgery.

Take care!  smile.gif

About 8 years ago, my doctor suggested that due to my age I should have a colonoscopy. I passed with no problems. However, during the procedure, your abdomen is greatly inflated and this resulted in my having a “blowout” hernia on both sides of my groin. A few weeks later, this was repaired by laparoscopic inguinal hernia day surgery. This is a fairly non-invasive technique to the methods used years ago. Still, a colonoscopy and hernia surgery are not pleasant experiences.
Cheers, Tom

No experience with the hernia procedure, but the last time I had a colonoscopy (only my second, as far as I can remember) was extremely pleasant. I slept though the whole thing! smile.gif BYW, I didn't ask if the 'operatives' enjoyed it as much as I did... rolleyes.gif

And I can tell you the first one I had was right out of the torture treatments seen in the Dark Ages! Actually, it was more of an x-ray procedure before the 'invasion.' Strapped to a tilting table and turned upside down! I kept waiting for a new horror movie staring some deranged doctor... laughhard.gif

Then, there is the kidney stone catheter removal procedure!!! I just wish they had blind-folded me!!! eek2.gif "Don't worry, this won't hurt us a bit." I wonder if these people later went to Abu Graihb... Thinking.gif Perhaps patient privacy will some day return to the operating theater?

TMI! Tmi... blush-anim-cl.gif
