I've always enjoyed my in-car TomTom, especially the big (relatively speaking) screen, but I'm really beyond the days where I walk that much in or about strange venues, so that "navigation" from within my iPhone would be in any way valuable. I surely wish I had had it one stormy night in Stuttgart, in 1977, however.
How are people actually using iPhone's TomTom? Isn't the screen too small? Does one
really need that much technology to locate a Thai Restaurant in Manhattan?
Ophthalmological PostScript: I'm absolutely amazed how bright the TomTom XL display is, following my cataract removal 2 weeks ago!
