« on: March 15, 2010, 09:03:24 AM »
<Keyboard shortcuts for Shut down, restart, and sleep, Article: HT2448, Modified: March 11, 2010>

Or, try these out for yourself and try to guess what will happen, before you press the keys. smile.gif
    Control-Eject
    Control-Command-Eject
    Control-Command-Option-Eject
    Control-Shift-Eject
    Command-Option-Eject
Of course, as a last resort (or the first, depending on how many vacations you take...),
QUOTE
Power button (if the computer is not responding)
Press and hold the power button on the computer for six seconds to shut down the computer.

Simultaneously selecting Control+Eject, brings up a window that allows Shutdown, Restart, Sleep, and Cancel.
