the mini is Sooooo much cooler running than my other macs... I'm in the market for more from miniville. it's mini madness. wink.gif
solid state drives should be available, making them even cooler running.

While I don't see it coming along soon (or ever?), I long for a new line of iMacs --24" iMac. And oh yeah, with a matte screen.

matte screen
Hel-LO-o, did someone at Apple get fired by the Board (again) or die? I don't think so, ergo, no [welcome] mat[te]. Of course, there are still companies queuing up to sell add-on films/glass...

Actually, someone on the Apple board died recently, but it wasn't He-who-appears-to-make-all-the-decisions. wink.gif

The really annoying thing is that the new (and long overdue) new LCD display is rumored to be glossy-only as well. I don't know any pro designers/photographers who want a glossy screen. As this is Apple's target audience with those monitors, since people typically pair them with Mac Pros (which are aimed at professional users, rather than home users) I think this is a real mistake. However, time will tell whether the rumors are true or not.

Also, it would be really nice if those monitors had DVI outputs like the rest of the world...mini-DVI is not used by anyone else and it's only found on the last bunch of Mac Pros. Those of us with Mac Pros that are over a year old are out of luck.
