Why let the project go to waste? They should make it open source and let some bedroom geeks play around with the code.
For Mac, it's pretty hard to make a calendar program that can compete with iCal. I'm not familiar with NOW's software but iCal works the best for me with its sharing and syncing to .mac and new compatibility with Google Calendar. Why would anyone want to use anything else??
(and then you have the watered-down outlook for mac... entourage... for exchange server users and "Pre-10.x "old timers that fear change)
