You mean, like,
before they lose customer credit card, phone numbers linked with their addresses and the times they use the least or most energy, thus tipping off the crooks about the best times to 'survey' their house? Why, I'm sure they have done their homework, just like all the other company's and government servers that have been hacked. Sure they have. Not to worry. "We'll take care of you..."
It seems that no company/government ever learns from the mistakes of others (and they never admit to any of their own). Their absolute, number one goal is to cut costs and increase profits (well, the government does all that in revers, anyway...).
But, there's still "Hope & Change."
