A "different" Safari Problem?

With apologies to Dakota I don't think I'm having the same problem he is having. wallbash.gif  I'm having trouble with downloading an album into iTunes (getting intelligent help from an Apple Help Desk person, a kindly lady, who is hopefully sleeping now on Cupertino time!  Anyway I am running an old Safari (version 5 - not what I said in his thread) and I think iTunes is (9.2 - 61).  I don't think that having the latest and greatest software is necessarily in order, I do think that this disparity in software "birthdates" might make a difference.  I'll post more details later (I have to tease out the pertinent details from the situation and the emails from the help desk).

This doesn't make any difference but the album is the Greatest Hits of the Little River Band  (one of the musicians in the band recently drowned I think I read) and I've finally reached 17 out of 20 cuts with some duplication.

Later: Don't know if this is possible but the "current" album cover and track count are "not" what I remembered.  Could they have remarketed the "Greatest Hits" with a different mix or something like that?  This is an earlier album with a lot fewer "hits" on it:

And this is the cover that "I" remember with a darker color to it:

This is funny; I did notice that, although the figure on the cover seems to be clothed swimsuit wise the various pictures in Google images are showing even less of the figure in some cases and there is "apparently" an expanded version of the CD now if you switch to Googles "webpage" view!  Maybe iTunes is confused about what I ordered or maybe "I" am confused!

Well, I'm confused about what your problem is. If you're on a slow/heavily used LAN, downloading can be very slow. Or are you saying that your requested download did not grab all the songs you though were in the "album?" dntknw.gif

Furthermore, I don't know why Safari has anything to do with downloading anything in iTunes. Or have I missread, again, the question/explanation? blush-anim-cl.gif
