Heard that yesterday. My only question is, what is "Amazon?" I vaguely remember ordering something once, but that was years ago. So many more places on-line with better prices... smile.gif

Three more articles, all rather interesting (at least to me):

Everyone has their favorite places. Yes, I can sometimes find a better price online, but when I factor in the shipping costs (which are often more than the item itself - and I don't pay shipping through Amazon), I do better with Amazon. Plus I get points on my Amazon credit card  whistling.gif and those have allowed me to shop for free (so to speak). Also, Amazon has been great with the few things I've had to return (they even pay the shipping), and they helped me settle issues with 2 outside vendors. All in all, when you live in an area where shopping is limited, Amazon is a life saver. Just my nickels worth - but you did ask. laugh.gif

Uhmnn...I thought we were talking about "e-books." dntknw.gif

My wife seems to get some stuff my mail order and has returned some of it with no problems. OTOH, if I had a dime for every catalog we get in the mail...so much for he "Do Not Mail List"...I'd be buying an iPad! rofl.gif

And I know about those "points." My 92 year old aunt refused to stop giving her card to the people who sat with her 24/7 because she was getting "miles!" Of course, she didn't need any "miles" when she took her "last trip!" That was to the funeral home...didn't even have to use a seat belt...or wedge into a coach seat... rolleyes.gif With a few days of sleuthing, we could probably have got the company to refund the 'little' extra charges those people made...assuming my aunt would have let anyone ever see the statements... I just hope you make a habit of using up your 'points' as fast as possible, after all, "Life is uncertain! Eat dessert first!" yes.gif thumbup.gif
