I got DSL on Thursday, and after fixing a few additional phone problems, got it going on the p.c and then loaded the software on the iBook....I am using Safari right now and with Verizon I can use the Apple email program too......geesh, it's a whole new world  biggrin.gif .....I'm not networked yet...but it is easy enough to take the iBook to the desk where the modem is.......trish

P.S.  Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there in T.S. land.... clap.gif

It sure doesn't take long to get spoiled.....after a cruise in the fast lane I connected the iBook on the dial up.....Oh my goodness, even though I was connected at about 48bps....it seemed to take forever.  I guess I'd better start another thread for my latest Apple/Mac lesson.....trish
