It is my most humble opinion that VersionTracker has gone to H... in a handbasket after being taken over by CNET!!!!!

Sure is essentially worthless for Mac users.

It's now VERY PC-centric.

Thank goodness for MacUpdate!

What you all think? I was hoping to find an email address for them so I could tell them in person!

It would have burned their ears and seared their eyeballs!

But to no avail.

FWIW

I think several agreed with you when this took place about a month ago. More and more good Mac forums and help sites are being taken over and "revamped" -- and wind up more PC oriented. Sure makes a place like this all the more precious.

I almost always just go to the developer's site for updates/upgrades. And most of my s/w checks for updates automatically, also. I guess I'm not too interested in beta testing apps anymore. But there is a place that needs exactly that, although many of the apps are already well beyond beta. It's simply a good place for developers to get people to see what they're doing as far as changes to their apps, get feedback and suggestions.
