Had a great time hanging out at home and cooked a very nice dinner.
Maine crab cakes, and then a surf and turf of Garlic Gulf Shrimp and Filet Mignon with a wild mushroom sauce. My very talented friend Tom made some great potatoes and brought over his famous "Chocolate Midnight" cake for dessert! He also cut loose with some of his foraged dried wild mushrooms for the sauce, which weres unbelievable! Black trumpets, chanterelles and porcini! It was heavenly!
Back to reality today!
