My mother passed away today at age 78, she had diabetes, abdominal cancer and Alzheimers. It's a sad day for me, but I was expecting it.

As a tribute to a lovely lady, I created a simple web page with some pictures I scanned this evening. I made it mostly for family and friends, but I do want to share with you good folks at TS, so I hope you don't mind.

Beautiful page. My sympathies to you and yours. Yesterday was the third aniversary of my Dad's passing yet he lives on in my heart and is always with me. May you find the peace that comes in knowing that your Mother always will be with you also.

Dear Karl,

May your mother rest in peace. I know at a personal level how hard it is to deal with that combination of devistating diseases. Thank you for sharing and I hope that the good memories sustain you as you grieve.

Both my mom and pop have passed on.

I lost my Dad 13 years ago with the passing of Feb. 15... it was expected too, but that doesn't make it any easier.

You do start thinking of all the good times more and more as time passes.

My condolences on the passing of your Mom.  What a lovely soul is shown through her pictures!

The tribute to your Mom was very touching. May she rest in peace.

It is never easy to deal with the loss of a parent. May the passing days bring you peace in the knowledge that Magda was loved by you and you by her. Thank you for sharing this part of your life.
