This one just made me giggle, particularly as a Canadian now back in Canada.

QUOTE
Notice,

There are arrears reckoned on your account over a period of 2010-2011 year.
You will find all calculations according to your financial debt, enclosed.
You have to sick the debt by the 17 December 2011.

Sincerely,
Internal Revenue Service.

With a handy-dandy zipped file attached, of course. rolleyes.gif

Yeah, I'm going to rush right out and "sick" that debt! Strangely, it comes from an IP address belonging to RoadRunner in Austin, TX. I was expecting somewhere in Russia or one of the other former Eastern Bloc countries.

Not so fast, "Canadian!" Austin is one of the regional IRS centers! You may really be "sick" if you ignore that message! yes.gif I suggest you send me a few thousand dollars (preferably unmarked $20 bills) and I'll take it from there. Right... I'll happily refund any excess funds after determining my costs, of course. But be prepared to provide additional sums should your 'sickness' be worse than expected. I'm sure you'd want a complete cure! I'll PM my snail mail address but please use FedEx as we need to get this matter resolved ASAP! yes.gif thanx.gif

Now, don't worry about a thing. nono.gif
